     While on The World Race your team has “Team Time” everyday except for your off days (Adventure Day’s and Sabbath’s). Team Time’s look different for each and every team and they run the gamut of things from taking the enneagram test and discussing your results, to blogging, to watching a movie, and anything and everything in between. I get to lead a team time once a week and I often try to make them themed so that my team can turn what we did into a blog! Recently I hosted our team time and it was called “Family Portrait.” In this team time we wrote out bios for each person on our team (excluding ourself) and explained who they were within our family and what their role was. I’ve included my bios for my four other teammates and the four bios for myself that you will read are their bios for me! I encourage you to check out my teammates blogs to get their perspective on who we all are within the family that is our team! Enjoy!!

 Meet my Family!

     Summer- The aunt who keeps a billfold full of pictures of her cats and gives back stories on each and every one of them. She enjoys paddle boarding and even has specially crafted life jackets so her cats can accompany her on her board.

     Rè- the niece who spent all of her inheritance on tattoos and secretly is a Jimmy Neutron level genius in the field of something that goes wayyyy and completely over the rest of the family’s heads.

     Hannah- The aunt who married into the family and goes out of the country for her job constantly even though no one knows exactly what said job is. Everyone loves when she comes to family gatherings because she has gifts for anything and everything even if there isn’t a special occasion or holiday involved.

     Emjay- The hardcore mom who paints up for her kids soccer games and isn’t afraid to wait for the refs in the parking lot over a bad call made. There’s a chapter written about her in Bob Goff’s latest book because they’re actually quite good friends in real life.

     Meagan (through the eyes of my teammates)-

“The mom that is always stylish and hip and trying to be in with the teens and packs her kids lunches with notes and talks to them like they’re adults and drives a cool car and is always singing in the kitchen while cooking and her kids are always embarrassed because she tries to make them.” (Summer)

”Little sister who is currently on broadway starring in Jesus Christ Superstar.” (Hannah)

“*The second removed cousin in law

* Writer for the Jackson journal

* Writes a lot about women’s right

* Extreme feminist for female sharks

* Is the loudest and always wears an apron” (Emjay)

 “The festive aunt you want at all your events and who comes even when it’s unexpected (but much desired). She cheers the loudest and makes all your friends jealous because they wish they had an aunt like that.” (Rè)

Now it’s YOUR turn! If you can think of any fun team times, my team and I would LOVE to hear about them in the comments below! Seriously don’t be shy!! Let us know what we can do and we’ll be sure to tag you and give you credit if we end up using your ideas! Thanks guys, you’re the best!

  1. Love you sweet girl!!
    How about – if I was a dog (or any type animal,) what would I be and why?

  2. Since it’s almost Christmas, last year at our Christmas work party, we broke up into teams and sang the 12 Days of Christmas out in a public setting. It was super fun and we were encouraged to be as animated as we wanted. Each team was assigned several days (and not all in a row) so that the song moved around from one group to the next. It was hilariously fun and all who heard us were thrilled with our grand performance! Considering that I work for a hospice company, it was fun to see everyone out of their element.??
